TransformIT Europe is the first GreenTech trade fair to be organised annually in Brussels, the capital of Europe, from May 2026. The initiative from the business sector, which is responsible for around 70% of harmful emissions, has been developed over several years and in consultation with over 1000 companies from various tech industries to help climate and environmentally friendly technologies and solutions achieve dynamic growth through a cross-industry trade fair marketplace. This is intended to effectively support the dissemination of sustainable solutions in line with EU ESG regulations and thus the transformation of the economy and society to achieve the EU's ZERO 2050 target. The kick-off conference with decision-makers from business, politics and interest groups from 6 - 7 May 2025 at EXPO Brussels is virtually the founding event of the GreenTech B2B trade fair, which brings together the sustainable technologies and digital interfaces of all industries and sectors in Europe's capital. This will create the largest network of GreenTech decision-makers in Brussels, which, together with representatives of the EU Commission, will be involved in the final organisation of the TransformIT Europe trade fair in May 2025. To this end, an advisory board of up to 20 members for the 2026 trade fair is to be appointed at the conference. The integration of various umbrella organisations and numerous media partners from all over Europe as well as diverse international press campaigns will ensure sufficient visibility to attract trade visitors.

Shaping the Future Together:
Europe’s Leadership in Digital and Sustainable Transformation
Europe is at a crossroads: The challenges of climate change and digital transformation demand a holistic and future-ready strategy. In this keynote, I will explore how digitalization and sustainability can work hand in hand to build a resilient economy. My prediction: Only through collaboration and cross-border projects can Europe secure its leadership role in the global transformation and become a model for other regions.
