About the speaker
Professor Achim Kampker is co-inventor of the “StreetScooter” electric vehicle and founder as
well as Director of the PEM Chair of RWTH Aachen University. In numerous research groups, he
and his team are dedicated to the production, development, and recycling of battery systems
and their components as well as hydrogen technologies, the electric drivetrain, and electric
trucks. Kampker is also a Managing Director of the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Battery
Cell Production FFB in Münster.
